Severn Hospice just happen to have a marquee going spare for a day! During a discussion with Mike Perry one Friday morning - I suggested that maybe Cadence could perform for them as a fundraising gig. So it was decided that we perform for an afternoon concert, in the marquee at Morrells Wood Farm
We are delighted to have Richard Jones - brilliant young saxophonist - as a guest performer.
Tickets are £5 and can be obtained from Cadence members or available on the 'door'

Congratulations Sheriffhales!
On Saturday May 21st Cadence helped the people of Sheriffhales, Shropshire celebrate the grand opening of their new Village Hall. The original one had been purchased by the Parish in the 1920's, and was an army hut from the Press Heath camp. | ||||||

We have sung here on a couple of previous occasions; contributing to the enormous fundraising projects over the past 9 years, for the new hall.

When we arrived we were greated in the foyer by a host of helium filled balloons |
There was a display of before and after building project photos |
The evening concert was finale of a day's celebrations, ending with a barn dance. We would like to extend our congratulations on this massive achievement and are glad that we could be part of it!

In Rehearsal
The first Tuesday of each month we have a sectional rehearsal away from the usual practice room in Broseley; an ideal chance to go over pieces separately & 'note-bash' where needed. We DO work hard honest!

Cadence Harmony Singers have recently had to say goodbye to a couple of our men; this has left a bit of a gap in our harmonic blend. Our small, friendly group comprises a mix of voices; soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass, working together as a committed team.
We need to enrich our sound with the added mellow tones of a baritone, bass and a tenor. If you have sung with a group or choir before, are musically inclined and would like to join us, come along to one of our rehearsals and see what you think. It is handy to be able to read music, but not an essential requirement. We sing a varied repertoire from songs of film and stage to American jazz and sacred choral pieces.

Street Singing in Bridgnorth
Cadence is all about singing for charitable events helping to bring music into the community and loving what we do. What better way of doing this is there, than by performing in the street! During the summer we sang in Bridgnorth, right outside the Cancer Research UK Charity Shop. This was in response to call for charity buskers. We responded and the generosity of Bridgnorth folk raised a wonderful sum. Added to this was a collection on the 5th December of £150. We sang beneath the beautiful Town Hall,
